How to Calculate the Time Until Your Wedding
You can count down the time until your wedding in a few ways. The simplest approach is to use the wedding countdown calculator above, but you can also use our time duration calculator.
To calculate the time remaining manually, follow a few easy steps.
If your wedding is in the current month, then you can calculate the days remaining using subtraction. Subtract the current day from the day your wedding is on.
days until wedding = wedding day – current day
If your wedding isn’t in the current month, then you’ll need to add the days left in the current month to the days in each month until the date, to the days in the month of your wedding.
days until wedding = days left in current month + total days in next month + … + days in the month before your wedding
This is the same process that you’d use to countdown to Christmas or find the days until your birthday.
For instance, if it’s currently April 29th and your wedding is on July 5th, then you can find the days until your wedding like this:
days until wedding = 2 + 31 + 30 + 4
days until wedding = 67 days
In this example, there are 2 days remaining in the current month, plus 31 days in May, plus 30 days in June, plus 4 days until July 5th. Thus, there are 67 days left.
